Opened in 2014 by brothers Sam and Theo Finch in the shell of the 1902 Ridgeview Iron Foundry. Their flagship Molten Amber took a regional medal in 2019. The taproom faces the Kessler State stadium, and they pour at every Wolves home game. The brief: a mat for the taproom door and the merch shelf, ready before football season.

Opened in 1964 in a converted sardine cannery on the Port Calloway harbor. Its best-known resident is Big Hank, a giant Pacific octopus, who arrived in 2021 and has opened the lid of his enrichment jar in front of three school trips. The brief: a gift-shop mat starring their most famous resident, in time for summer visitors.

Kessler State was chartered in 1887 as Kessler Normal School on a former orchard north of the Ridgeview river bend. The Wolves name came in 1923, after a student newspaper contest. The rivalry with Brantley Tech dates to a disputed 1931 homecoming score, and Ridgeview Brewing pours at every home game. The brief: a mat for the campus store and alumni shop, in school colors, ready for homecoming.

Questions about custom mats
Can you print any artwork?
Almost anything: logos, crests, illustrations, photos, hand-drawn sketches and lettering. If a detail is too fine to print well on coir, we'll tell you and suggest a fix before you order.
I don't have a design. Can you create one?
Yes. Send us a brief, a sketch or a few words and our in-house studio will design it, then revise it with you until you're happy with the proof.
Coir or all-weather: which should I choose?
Natural coir suits bold designs in one to three colors, like logos and lettering, and is best for porches and covered entrances. All-weather mats take full-color and photographic artwork and are waterproof, so they suit open doorways.
How fast is turnaround?
You'll get a free digital proof first. Once you approve it, most custom orders are printed in Pennsylvania and shipped in about 5 business days. Tell us your deadline and we'll confirm it when we quote.
What's the minimum order?
Tell us the quantity you have in mind and we'll quote for it. Mixed designs and sizes in one order are welcome.
Which file types do you accept?
AI, EPS, SVG and PDF are ideal. High-resolution PNG or JPG files work too, and our team will prepare your file for print.
Can you print my school or team logo?
Only if you own the logo or are licensed to use it. For schools, colleges and teams, that usually means permission or a license from them. We can't print logos or trademarks you don't have the rights to.
Can I order just one mat?
