About Coir Doormats
Did you know that coir doormats are crafted from high quality, tufted coconut fibre? Our doormats are completely natural and therefore good for the planet. Coir has been used to make doormats for many years. The coconut fruit grows with an outer husk that is removed to reveal the fruit. To ensure that there is no waste of the coconut fruit, we use the husk to start the process of making the matting. As coir is completely natural, this makes it 100% organic and biodegradable.
When hand spraying designs on our mats we use durable exterior paint that sticks to coir and lasts. Our team has developed this product over the years to be the most desirable doormat on the market.
We now stock our coir doormats in 6 sizes, meaning we have a mat to fit the majority of door sizes. They come with a non-slip PVC backing as safety is an important consideration for us. We advise that you keep our doormats inside or in a well sheltered area; Coir is very absorbent; which makes it ideal for drying/cleaning your shoes but this does mean that an excessive amount of water may affect your Custom Coir Doormat design.

How To Care For Your Coir Doormat:
As our coir doormats are a natural product, you may notice some shedding through time. We advise that you shake your doormat out regularly or vacuum it. Please avoid getting your doormat too wet and do not attempt to clean with cleaning products.
